Law360 (2/15, Boysen, 23K) reports Philadelphia Contributionship Insurance Co. has filed a lawsuit against Electrolux Home Products in New Jersey federal court “alleging faulty wiring issue with the company’s dishwashers that is at the center of eight proposed class actions is also to blame for a fire that erupted at a policyholder’s home.” According to the insurer, the cause of the fire at Morris Plains, New Jersey man’s “home was faulty wiring in his Frigidaire dishwasher, which is manufactured by Electrolux.”
