Construction Site Injury: A construction worker was killed by a falling pallet of cinder blocks working at a building under construction. The pallet fell from a 6-floor balcony, that struck the plaintiff on his hard hat. He died just five minutes later. The Bergen County lawsuit was filed against multiple defendants and the total recovery was $7,000,000.
The complaint in this case was that the masons left the pallet on the balcony’s edge instead of in a more secure spot.
Raymond Gill of Gill & Chamas, LLC in Woodbridge, NJ & Howell, NJ represented the estate.
