Jan. 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Attorneys secured a $2.375 million recovery in favor of the family of State Trooper Sean Cullen, who was struck and killed in the line of duty while responding to a motor vehicle accident.
On March 7, 2016, shortly after 8 pm, 31-year-old, New Jersey State Trooper, Sean Cullen, assigned to the Bellmawr station, responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 295 in West Deptford Township NJ. Trooper Cullen was attempting to reach a vehicle that caught fire in the accident. While attempting to cross the southbound lanes of I295 to render assistance Trooper Cullen was struck by a car driven by a 22- year-old woman who failed to “move over”.
Trooper Cullen, died at the hospital, on March 8th, 2016, several hours later, as a result of massive injuries. Trooper Cullen was engaged and leaves behind his fiancée, two young sons, parents and brothers and a sister.
