Auto Accident Injuries: A man who suffered brain and leg injuries in a head-on auto accident agreed to settle his Essex County suit for $1.9 Million. The defendant driving a company van, hit a car driven by the plaintiff, then 28, of Elizabeth, which was heading north on Route 21 in Newark.
The defendants van crossed the center line and struck the plaintiffs car causing it to burst into flames, says the plaintiff’s auto lawyer Raymond Gill Jr. The plaintiff broke bones in his legs, injured his right knee, suffered bleeding in his brain, and underwent more than 20 surgeries and other procedures. His mobility, strength and flexibility are permanently impaired and he has cognitive deficits, including difficulty concentrating, the inability to focus and memory loss.
